This year as you prepare for the wonderful meals containing turkey, dressing, yams, broccoli and cheese casserole, pumpkin and pecan pie (I can taste it), and while getting ready for all the football you can handle (Go Cowboys, and Hookem Horns), be sure you take into consideration all that is being celebrated. THANKSGIVING! Be sure to praise our Lord and Savior and thank him for all that he has done. Be sure to give thanks for your salvation and relationship with God. Give thanks for your families and friends. Praise him for placing you in a country where you are free to worship. For loving you when you are not deserving. For giving you life and counting you as his own. Enjoy the turkey but remember to thank him for it. Enjoy your fellowship, again praising him for those around you. Praise him for safe travel where ever you end up. Thank him for good health for you, your spouse and children. Give thanks for all things.
Even though it is a day of feasting, remember the title of that day. THANKSGIVING!!!!!! Give thanks to the Lord for he is good!
